Right off the bat, the main difference of voice searching from typing in regular searches is this: people talk differently than how they type. Since this is the case, you have to learn how people talk to their voice assistants rather than learning what they type on search engines.

Cater to How People Talk
The first tip we already might have mentioned is this. People generally talk differently than how they type. Due to this, you might have to edit your content accordingly if you want them to show up on search queries.
For example, people would type out “coffee shops” when searching on Google to find out the top coffee shops. In voice searching, it would be more frequent to hear people say “show me good coffee shops,” or “what are some good coffee shops?” Like so, you have to take those few extra words into account.
If you want to be able to optimize voice searching, you have to put this high up on your list. You must be able to figure out how people will talk to their devices and use that to your advantage.
Optimize Your Overall Content
After figuring out the first tip, you must then cater your content after what you’ve learned. When voice searching, it is very common to hear questions. As such, you have to provide very detailed and concise answers to the questions people ask.
Give Direct Answers to Queries
This next tip is related to the previous one. A part of optimizing content means that you should be able to answer questions almost immediately. Most of the time, people who voice search are ones that are too busy to type. Since this is the case, you have to answer them as best as possible to avoid them having to read through unnecessary words.
Stick to Your Area of Expertise
It’s not a secret that people ask more general questions than complicated ones. When voice searching, it’s pretty standard to see questions related to everyday activities and such. You might be thinking that this is a great way to get more users clicking on your links and websites. We advise you to not do this.
Creating content about whatever general topic you can find is not the way to go. If you’ve got a business related to a single topic, stick to that! You don’t need to stray away from your expertise to get more clicks.
